Place all ingredients into a blender and puree until smooth.


Black Bean-Chicken-Chile Quesadillas with Hemp

½ cup drained canned black beans, drained

½ cup finely chopped cooked chicken or extra-firm tofu

½ cup shredded Monterey Jack, pepperjack, or cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons canned chopped green chiles, drained

2 (20mg) packets Caliper Hemp dissolvable powder

4 teaspoons vegetable oil, divided

4 (8-inch) whole-wheat tortillas

Salsa and guacamole, for serving (optional)

Combine beans, chicken or tofu, cheese, chiles and Caliper Hemp in a medium bowl.

Heat 2 teaspoons of the oil in a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tortilla and top with half of the filling mixture, spreading evenly. Top with another tortilla and cook, pressing down with a spatula occasionally, until the cheese melts and the quesadilla is lightly browned on the bottom, about 3 minutes. Carefully flip and continue cooking to lightly brown the other side, 2 minutes more. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.

Repeat with the remaining 2 teaspoons oil, tortillas and filling. Serve with salsa and guacamole, if desired.


Gnocchi with Beans, Greens and Hemp

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 (7-ounce) package shelf-stable gnocchi

1(5-ounce) package baby spinach, arugula, or mixed baby greens

1 (14-ounce) can cannellini or other white beans, drained

1 tablespoon crumbled dried sage

4 (20mg) packets Caliper Hemp dissolvable powder

¼ cup freshly ground Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese

Freshly ground pepper, to taste

Heat the oil and butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add gnocchi in an even layer and cook without stirring, until golden brown on bottom, about 3 minutes. Cook, stirring, until golden brown and crisp on both sides, about 3 minutes more.

Stir in the spinach, beans, sage, and Caliper Hemp; continue cooking until heated through. Sprinkle with the Parmigiano-Reggiano and freshly ground pepper and enjoy.
